Driving Directions
From I-435:
Take the Truman Road Exit. Go East on Truman Road to River Blvd. Turn Right on River. Go 1 Block to Maple Street (one way street to the east) and turn Left. Go 1 ½ blocks. The Higher Ground Hotel is located on the left.
From I-70:
Take the Noland Road Exit. Go North on Noland Road to Truman Road. Turn left on Truman Road. Take Truman Road to Delaware (fifth stop sign). Turn left on Delaware. The Higher Ground Hotel is on the right at the end of the block.
Amtrak Train Station
The Higher Ground Hotel is just over a mile away from the
Amtrak Station in Independence (IDP).
Kansas City International Airport
Take the
I-435 East exit (the sign says "St. Louis"), then follow directions from I-435.
